Access Corporation Declares N612bn PAT In 2023
Access Corporation, one of the biggest Nigerian banking groups, reported a profit after tax of N612.4 billion for its 2023 financial year.
This was an increase of about 300 percent over the figure declared in the preceding year.
This is the largest profit ever posted by the company.
According to its financial statements, the group recorded gross earnings of N2.6 trillion during the year, a 80 percent rise over the N1.4 trillion reported in 2022.
A significant portion of the revenue came from fair value and foreign exchange gain of about N628.9 billion compared to N335.5 billion reported a year earlier.
