Tinubu Appoints Bayo Onanuga As Special Adviser

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Bayo Onanuga as Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.

Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

The President also announced the appointment of a Senior Special Assistant on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Ms. Delu Bulus Yakubu.

Tinubu wished the new presidential aides well in the discharge of their duties.

Reacting to his appointment, Onanuga vowed to serve Mr President with immediate effect.

He appreciated Tinubu and Nigerians for the confidence reposed in him.

Posting on X, Onanuga wrote: “I will henceforth serve as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s special adviser on information and strategy, with immediate effect.

“I thank the President for his confidence in me. I thank fellow Nigerians who have put me in their prayers and who believe the cap of the new job fits me.”

The President also announced the appointment of a Senior Special Assistant on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Ms. Delu Bulus Yakubu. Onanuga was a spokesperson for the defunct Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign team.
