Alimosho PDP Restragises, Pass Vote Of Confidence On Segun Adewale

In order to give the All Progressives Congress, APC, a keen contest in the forthcoming local government election in Lagos State, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Alimosho branch has Restragised.

Speaking on Friday in their office in Alimosho, Elder Saturday Akioya, acting Chairman and Legal Adviser of the Party in Alimosho Local Government Area said, the party begun a process of sanitising, that ultimately reposition the party in Alimosho and in Lagos State at large.

He said the party in a very articulate move to stem the rascality and impudence of some LGA Excos and Ward chairmen of the area have suspended party executives in the LGA.

According to Akioya, the suspended members were found were working against the party’s interest.

He said some of offences of the Suspended officials include and limited to;  Absconding from duties, Carrying out anti party activities, Hobnobbing with APC to plant moles in PDP  Alimosho and   Having no genuine action plan towards the LG election as they already have traded with APC.

Others include;Running a delicately secret deceitful campaign against the PDP and its aspirants, Deceitfully running a parallel office outside the authentically recognized one by the State and National body and Obstinate and audacious refusal to recognize and respect the constituted authorities of the Party.

Akioya said before the suspension, the party exhausted all civil and legitimate means of getting these airing members to repent of their anti party activities without success.

He said “Having ascertained that they still remained adamant, we the substantive executives at the Secretariat, hereby resolved to suspend the officers in the bid to rescue the party in the Local Government Area.

“During the suspension period, you are to stay away from the party activities pending when the disciplinary Committee will submit their report”, Akioya said.

3. L. G. A. Publicity Sec.

4. L. G. A. Organizing Sec.

5. L. G. A. Women Leader

6. L. G. A. Youth Leader

7. L. G. A. Auditor

8. L. G. A. Fin. Sec.

Also suspended are the following Ward Chairmen;

1. Chairman C1

2. Chairman C2

3. Chairman D

4. Chairman E2

5. Chairman F

6. Chairman H

7. Chairman G North

8. Chairman G South

Meanwhile Alimosho LGA  PDP members have passed vote of confidence on Otunba Segun Adewale, whom they said have contributed a lot for the party in Alimosho and in Lagos.

According to them  Otunba Adewale is one of the PDP leaders and in Lagos, that have sacrificed a lot and are read to do more.
