Nigeria Records 561 New Coronavirus Cases, As Total Infections Hit 25,694
No fewer than 561 Nigerians have tested positive to COVID-19.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Tuesday night announced that the country has recorded 561 new cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in Nigeria to 25,694.
The NCDC disclosed this via its verified Twitter handle.
Since February 27 when Nigeria recorded its first case of the virus, 25,694 cases have been confirmed, while 9,746 who have recovered have been discharged from the isolation centres across the country. Sadly, 590 people have died.
