NCDC Reports 587 New Cases of COVID-19 as Total Cases Hit 17,735
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 587 new coronavirus cases in the country.
The Health agency Wednesday night via its Twitter handle, listed the new total as 17,735.
While 5,967 have been discharged from the isolation centres across the country after treatment, 469 have died.
Lagos still the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 155 new cases, Edo State recorded 75 new cases, the Federal Capital Territory reported 67, while Rivers got 65, Oyo 56 and Delta 50.
