One Year Anniversary: Lagos NUJ Scores Gov Sanwo-Olu High
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Lagos State Council has given a pass mark to  Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his team over the successes recorded in his one year in office through aggressive realization of “THEMES Agenda” of his administration.
In a statement issued and signed by the NUJ Lagos State Chairman, Dr. Qasim Akinreti and the Secretary Comrade Alfred Odifa, the Union leaders described the Governor as a pragmatic , conscientious forward looking and a goal getting  leader.
Addressing Journalists in his Ikeja office, Dr. Akinreti commended the Governor and his team.
According to him, ” ‘THE THEMES’ Agenda  of the Babajide Sanwo- Olu led administration has produced visible impacts in the governance in the state.”
The Union noted  the Governor’s proactive approach to issues bothering on Traffic Management/  Transportation, Health/ Environment, Education /Technology and making Lagos a 21st Century Economy by encoraging Entertainment / Tourism,  Security and Governance.
It stated  that more  successes will be achieved under his continued purposeful leadership in years to come.
“Definitely, Mr. Governor is taking Lagos State to the next level, “ Akinreti explained .
The Union viewed the longlist of am recorded so far within 365 days, as testimony to the quality of visionary leadership of Governor Sanwo -Olu.
The NUJ Chairman therefore urged the Governor Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi  Kadri Hamzat to continue to justified the public confidence reposed on them with a view to record more successes in the remaining three years.
Dr  Akinreti , restated the Lagos NUJ  commitment to the  THEMES Agenda of the current government and promise to always  partner with the Sanwo-Olu’s administration for a greater Lagos!
He  also prayed for God’s protection, wisdom and sound health  for the Governor and his dedicated team.
