Friesland Campina WAMCO  Supports Lagos NUJ With Products

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Lagos State Council has commended Friesland Campina WAMCO Plc for its support to the Union by donating cartons of peak milk to it.

 The 50 cartons of 12g Sachets of Peak Milk  donated by the Company was received on behalf of the Union,  by  NUJ, Lagos, Treasurer, Mrs Iyabo Ogunjuyigbe.

The  Chairman of NUJ, Lagos Chapter , Dr Qasim Akinreti, while  appreciating the gesture of the management of Friesland Campina ,WAMCO Nigeria Plc, said the donation is symbolic especially at this critical period of COVID-19 lockdown and the Ramadan.

Akinreti said the support of the milk company  is timely and a demonstration of friendship between the NUJ Lagos and the global milk company.

According to him , truly “Wamco has shown that a friend in need is a friend indeed”

He thanked the management of the company and prayed for a continued cordial and robust relationship between the two organizations.
