Stakeholders To Brainstorm On Way Forward In The Maritime Sector At Powerful Pen Media Chapel Congress
The Powerful Pen Media Chapel, of Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria (MAJAN), Publishers of the Powerful Pen Newspaper has concluded plans to hold a special Congress that would assemble reputable Stakeholders to discuss Maritime issues
The Congress slated for Thursday, January 14, 2021, has a theme, “Apapa Traffic And Skyrocketing Inflation in the Country ; Effects On Port Operations And The Maritime Industry”.
Addressing Journalists in Lagos at the weekend, President of MAJAN, Comrade Ray Ugochukwu, said the Congress will present a veritable platform to discuss challenges facing the Maritime Sector and the way forward.
He disclosed that highly experienced and reputable stakeholders in the industry have been carefully selected as special guests to speak on this important topic.
According to him, the Congress will also be a useful platform for stakeholders and the experts to air their views and thoughts on government policies in the sector, make suggestions or give advise where necessary.
The Powerful Pen Media Chapel an affiliate of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos State chapter, was formally inaugurated in 2019.
The Chapel through the Powerful Newspaper Publishers by MAJAN, has been vocal on issues concerning the Maritime Sector.
