NSE Index Rebounds by 0.83% Amid Renewed Bullish Activity

The local bourse All Share Index (ASI) rose by 0.83 per cent to close at 30,733.47 points amid renewed bargain hunting activity even as the Exchange printed 22
gainers as against 19 losers at the close of the trading session.
The year to date gain of the NSE ASI notched higher to 14.49 per cent
Notably, investors buy
interest in Counters such as Dangote Cement, CAP, Access Bank and Oando lifted their respective prices by 5.63 per cent, 9.58 per cent, 1.26 per cent and 7 per cent.
Performance across sub-sector gauges tracked was bullish as three out of the five indices tracked closed in green; the NSE Insurance, NSE oil/Gas and NSE Industrial indices rose by 0.33 per cent, 0.62 per cent and 2.85 per cent.
On the flip side, the NSE Banking and NSE Consumer Goods indices fell by 0.47 per cent and 0.13 per cent respectively.
Meanwhile, the total volume of stocks traded fell by 10.77 per cent to 0.33 billion unit; however, the value of stock traded rose by 2.32 per cent to N3.8 billion respectively.
